This mobile application (“MyySafe”) and website www.myysafe.com (together referred to as the “Platform”, “We” and “Us”) is owned and operated by Altruistech Private Limited (“Altruistech”) having its Registered Office at 6, Bldg No. 6, Orchids CHS Ltd, 13 Bhavani Nagar, Marol Maroshi Rd Andheri (E) Mumbai, Mumbai City, Maharashtra, India - 400059 and is the sole owner, operator, author and publisher of the Platform.
MyySafe has created this privacy policy (“Privacy Policy” or “Policy”) to help the visitors and Users (collectively, referred to as “You” and words of similar import) feel more confident about the privacy and security of Your personal details and other information that MyySafe may receive or collect when You engage with MyySafe. By using or browsing the Platform, You expressly consent to Myysafe’s use and disclosure of Your personal details and other information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
This Policy will provide You information about Myysafe’s collection, use, possession, transfer, processing, storage, dealing, disclosure, security and handling of Your Personal Information and the Sensitive Personal Data.
This Policy incorporates and includes our Terms of Use (“Terms”), Refund and Cancellation Policy and End User License Agreement (“EULA”). Words and phrases not defined in this Policy shall mean the same as provided in the Terms.
We are committed to adhere to the Information Technology Act, 2000 for the time being in force (“Act”) and the rules made thereunder.
When You use the Platform, We may collect the following information about You or Your use of the Platform.

Personal Information of a person may include information and details shared during Account creation or registration on the Platform such as name, email address, telephone number, blood group, organ donor status, last rites requirement, past and current medications including medical allergies – if any, date of birth, city of residence and payment method information. Personal Information also include the following:

Sensitive Personal Data or information of a person means such personal information received by Myysafe for processing or storing under this Policy or the Terms and may consist of information relating to passwords; mental health condition; medical records and history, Financial and KYC information. Your information including credit/debit card number, UPI ID, billing address, payment instrument details, etc. may be collected by payment portals or by Stripe / PayU secure online payment system. Credit card information collected on the Platform is stored on Stripe / PayU secure sites and are available to Myysafe for up to 31 days. Such information is governed by Stripe / PayU privacy policy. We don’t sell or trade user information in any form to anyone. The information is used solely for the purpose of enabling services and making your experience better on the Platform.
c. User Data means the personal and financial information including name, email address, telephone number, videos and other details uploaded by the User on the Platform with respect to insurances, bank accounts & other financials, movable and immovable properties etc, if any. Such User Data is not shared with anyone other than the facilitators and executor/s authorized by the User from the date of signing up on the Platform. Personal information including blood group, organ donor status, last rites requirement, past and current medications including medical allergies etc, if any, are shared with facilitators when they accept Your request to be Your facilitator as this information is useful in emergency situations.
d. User Content means the content, other than User Data, You may submit, upload, publish or otherwise make available including commentary or feedback related to Platform services or services provided through the Platform, initiation of support requests.
e. Information about other people is the information that You may enter about a person other than You (such as a facilitator or executor) by providing their personal information viz. names, mobile numbers, email IDs, etc. We rely on You to obtain such other person’s consent to our use of their personal information for these limited purposes.
f. Usage data is the data that We collect about how You interact with our Platform. This includes data such as interaction patterns (such as screen actions, gestures: taps, scrolls) access dates and times, Platform features or pages viewed, Platform crashes and other system activity, type of browser, and third-party sites or services used before or in the course of interacting with our Platform.
g. Data collected through cookies where “cookies” are data collectors on Websites. Cookies usually collect information regarding User settings such as language and special preferences. They also collect other miscellaneous information such as the time You spend on our Platform. Information collected through cookies is used to analyse how You interact with our Platform, how well You respond to marketing promotions, and to make Your experience safer. You are free to disable our cookies on Your browser, but that may prevent You from accessing all the features of our Platform.
h. Information collected through advertisements includes when our Platform is using third party advertising companies to serve ads when You visit our Platform. The data regarding the way You interact with these ads is also collected, analysed and stored by Us. This information allows ad networks to, among other things, deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to You. This Policy does not cover the use of cookies by any such advertisers.
We use the information We collect to provide and improve Platform Services. For example, We use such information to optimize and improve our technologies and Services. Where additional, optional information is sought, visitors will be notified of this at the point of collection. You can review and change Your Personal Information by logging into the Platform and visiting Your account profile page. You may also send Us an email to request access to, correct or delete any Personal Information that You have provided to Us. We may not accommodate a request to change Personal Information if We believe the change would violate any law or legal requirement or cause the information to be incorrect. You can also review and change any of Your User Data subject to Terms and limitations set by Myysafe.
All the Platform Services have appropriate security measures to protect Your data in line with our policies. We do not allow any third party to use Your Personal Information and User Data for any purpose other than stated in this Policy. We permit them to process Your data only for specified purposes and in accordance with our instructions and conditions. Third party disclosures made by us in accordance herewith may include sharing such information with affiliated companies / individuals that perform support services for your Account or facilitate your transactions and/or contracts with Us, including those that provide professional, legal, or accounting advice to Us. Affiliated companies that assist Us in providing services to You are required to maintain the confidentiality of such information to the extent they receive it and to use Your personal information only in the course of providing such services and only for the purposes that we dictate. We may also disclose Your personal information to third parties and/or affiliated companies / individuals to fulfil Your instructions or pursuant to Your express consent. We want You to know that we will not sell Your personal information to any third party. By consenting to this Policy, You consent to Your data being shared with our third party service providers. However, we may need to share or disclose some of your information outside Myysafe if we have a good-faith belief that access, use preservation or disclosure of the information is necessary in the following events:
Your information will be shared with another business entity should We (or part of Our business/assets) plan to merge with, or be acquired by another business entity or in cases of organization restructuring or amalgamation. In case of such a transaction or re-organization the new business entity will follow this Privacy Policy. All the affected Users will be notified before personal information is transferred or becomes subject to different entities’ privacy policy.
If We decide to change our Privacy Policy, We will post those changes on this page so that You are always aware of what information We collect, how We use it, and under what circumstances We disclose it. By continuing to access and use the Platform after any such changes are posted, You will be deemed to have accepted such changes.
